The Shield Our State Coalition, a group of concerned and committed Floridians, recognizes that our current residential insurance market is unsustainable. We pledge to work closely with state leaders, private companies and other stakeholders to craft a bold solution that is truly in the public interest. This problem is too big for either the state or private companies to solve alone. However, we are confident that Florida can make immediate, positive changes by forging a new, public-private partnership.

It’s time to act now - we cannot afford to wait until the next disaster strikes. We’re currently working with businesses, organizations and concerned citizens to call on our government to deliver a new solution. In this important effort, you can personally help - in fact, your voice is crucial in solving Florida’s homeowners’ insurance crisis!
